Khara never disappoints with plenty of action, enthralling thrill aspect, carnage with well timed insertions of humor. His narratives are gripping and hold your attention until the very end.
Despite the bloodshed in his narratives along with endless adventure, he manages to create affecting characters. Eytan Morgenstern will claim your emotions, carve a place in your heart as you understand his torturous past and present. Quite an emotional read, proportionate in all areas.
Great to reunite with Avi, Eli, Jackie and Jeremy but the apex is of course Eytan. Love the deep friendship, extended family ties this patchwork group shares. Of course I am a fan of Jackie – beautiful, tough, strong, she holds her own, great addition to the narrative. I found alternating between past and present, and the various locations supporting the excitement, setting the tension even higher. Backstory certainly gives credit to the emotional pull the reader will undoubtedly experience.
I’m not usually a fan of series but Khara made me a convert with his Consortium series. I adore his characters, narrative and the clever premise.
Fans of action, perusers allowing themselves emotional investment will thoroughly enjoy Khara’s series. Each book is fine as a standalone, but beware you’ll want to read the entire hair raising adventures from beginning to end. Have all three books on hand, you’ll be grateful you did. Engaging read.
SYNOPSIS
Past and present collide. When you kill a legend, it becomes inspiration, and you can’t kill inspiration. Jeremy Corbin and Jacqueline Walls lead a calm life in a New Jersey suburb, when one day everything changes. Eytan Morgenstern returns to save them, and this improbably team must take on the Consortium, leading them on an epic journey from London to Tel-Aviv, from the Polish forests to Manhattan high-rises, from the shameful past to the threatening future. After a lifetime of bringing Nazi war criminals to justice, the Mossad operative is once again fighting those who wish to study his superhuman body. The self-sacrificing secret agent must rely on the help of his friends to finally free himself of the physical and emotional scars of his past.

Hm… I don’t really have a favorite author for thrillers. I’m more interested in the plot than anything else.

Some fans have said readers of Silva will like David Khara. Would love to know what you think, Anne. Thanks for this review. David just told me today there will be more Eytan stories to come (breaking the new here). We’re excited.

I’ve read all of Silva’s books…they are good as are Patterson’s although I like some series better than others. I also like Lee Child, Brad Thor and many ohers…can’t say I really have a favorite.
